About this project
kiwandel.ch grew out of a master's thesis for an EMBA in General Management at the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden (FH Graubünden), completed in 2026. The thesis explored why technology rollouts so rarely fail because of the technology itself.
The guide condenses that work into a tool you can use without reading the thesis itself. It's aimed at leaders responsible for an AI-driven change, regardless of industry or company size.
Foundation
An internal employee survey, a public benchmark survey, and interviews with leaders responsible for transformation. ISO/IEC 42001 serves as the normative framework.
Approach
Three leadership levers, crossed with the three conditions of human behaviour, framed by four phases. Not a rigid recipe, but a compass for the leadership work that really matters.

Fabian Wipf is a Chief Information Security Officer, professionally focused on the leadership tasks that arise when organisations introduce new technologies. He is the author of the book "Cybersecurity für KMU" and completed his EMBA in General Management at FH Graubünden.
